CHOGM 2026: Tomorrow’s Leaders, Today

While Commonwealth leaders arrive in Antigua with their entourages and security details, around 300 young delegates are gathering for the Commonwealth Youth Forum. Running from 1–4 November, it aims to give the next generation a say in decisions affecting their future. But there’s a complication: many young people aren’t entirely sure what the Commonwealth does. Perhaps that’s the first thing worth discussing. After all, it’s difficult to shape an organisation’s future if nobody has explained its present.
